TEXT 2 Corinthians 3.1-3 ESV

1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you, or from you? You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

  • SPIRITUAL INFLUENCE IMPRINTS THE HEART.
  • SPIRITUAL INFLUENCE IS CHARACTERIZED BY INTEGRITY.
  • SPIRITUAL INFLUENCE IS CHRIST-CENTERED.
  • SPIRITUAL INFLUENCE REPRODUCES.

Am I partnering with the Holy Spirit with the goal of influencing others to become fully-devoted followers of Jesus?

The Great Commission is our Mission. We each have unique giftings and relational connections.

Matthew 28.19-20 ESV19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Psalm 71.17.18 ESV

17O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.

18So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.

2 Timothy 3.14-15 ESV14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it 15 and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 4.12 ESV12 Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
