The Connection: Young Adults
Acts Two Connection is a community of young adults in Columbia, MO whose vision is to connect to God and connect with others in a real, relevant, and radical way.
We are a group of 18-35 year old college students, singles, young marrieds, and new parents. We come from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives but are connected together through radical faith Jesus Christ (Acts 2:42-27; John 17:20-22). Young Adult Ministry @ Columbia First Assembly started in 2009 with a handful of YAs. Today we are family who meets weekly for The Connection (large group), weekly in guy/girl small groups, in monthly fun events/outreaches, and is integrated throughout our local church’s ministries.
WEEKLY DISCIPLESHIP
- Acts2 Women, Wednesdays @ 7:30pm-8:30pm, 1010 N. 7th Street, Columbia MO (Harris Residence); Join us at 7pm for worship in Smith Hall - Acts2 Men, Wednesdays @ 7:30pm-8:30pm, Dairy Queen, Bus. Loop, Columbia MO; Join us at 7pm for worship in Smith Hall - 25 to Life (Guys 25-55), 2nd & 4th Thursdays @ 7am (Hyvee-Conley Road, Columbia MO)THE CONNECTION
Sundays @ 6pm, Upper Room, Parker Hall, Columbia First Assembly. (Childcare Provided)
Worship, prayer, and large group Bible discussion. It’s open, casual, and not like traditional church- real relationships, relevant application, and radical faith.
